My Chase bank credit card bill still has my old terms on it. Sure I'm glad. But can I really rest knowing that I don't even have opt out rights for when Chase does change terms. My other Chase bills did have changes. Fortunately those are for far less amounts, but they still misrepresented what the new terms would be and they had to send out a letter restating what the terms now are.
All I know is that I still have two Chase credit card bills that used to have a 5.99% interest rate for the life of the loan, and now they are 7.99% even though I was never late with a payment. Please read the mission statement of this blog to see that I cannot stop protesting until Credit card companies are fair and intelligent in the products they offer their customers.
Consumers MUST have the right to "OPT OUT' when terms are changed.

Call the New York City office of Chase Manhattan and ask to speak to someone on the Board of directors. You'll get a really kind and sweet lady who is the Secretary for the Board. She will listen and if there's something she can do to help you she will.
She helped me with belligerent collectors in October. I caught up on my Car payment thanks to her.
now I'm a little behind again less than I was before and another Collection Company even more menacing and threating has my number.
They disrupt work and are unreasonable to communicate with. They are engaging in psychological warfare from scripted materials.
I'm wating for the right oppotunity to present a lawsuit. I'm gathering the data that will hopefully get this mental anquish off me.
They are seriously more debilitating than my horrible divorce!
Thanks
