Hi Alessandro,
I'm working on a story about some of the problems I’m hearing about from credit card holders. As you know, many are saying their credit card accounts are being closed by the banks, including CHASE, without much notice. And of course there are the complaints about lowered credit limits and increased interest rates. I’m trying to find some people in the Washington, DC metro area, not experts, but people who’re having these bad experiences with their credit card companies. Would you know of anyone on this coast? Or would you be able to forward my e-mail to the other like-minded bloggers?
Thanks for your help!

GOVERNMENT, POLITICIANS, CELEBRITIES, SPORTS STARS and the MEDIA UNITE rather than turn on each other, so should REPUBLICAN and DEMOCRATIC VOTERS.
Is it really OK that celebrities, probably influenced by their own financial planners and investment advisors, keep their mouths shut about how awful the credit card companies are punishing the people of the world by raising credit card interest rates to economically lethal levels?
Is it really acceptable that no one in the media seems bent on taking on the credit card companies and crediting them with the continued economic contraction of our economy?
Is it really acceptable for local governments to want to be the credit card companies best friend even as they see these very same financial institutions vacuum sealing local economies and drying up normal local, state and federal revenue streams as a result of their 30% interest rates?
When will Wall Street realize that even their own investors have given up investing as they instead pay a 30% never ending monthly maintenance interest fee charge on their existing credit card debt?
When will local, state and federal governments, Politicians, Wall Street Investors the Media and Celebrities begin to turn against each other as they realize that the more the consumer is pinched, so too are they being pinched in the form of less consumer revenue going towards them?
When will you start telling anybody who wants your money that it is going to the credit card companies and their ridiculous interest rates. The next time ANY SALESPERSON CALLS, just tell them, sorry, the credit card companies take all my spending money every paycheck.
When will Oprah Winfrey be called out for giving millions of free KFC Chicken Grill Coupons to her "minions" while ignoring the absolutely unnecessary devastation that Chase bank and other credit card companies are causing to the very same people. Free Chicken Dinners Oprah, while people lose their homes and wealth over usurious credit card interest rates? Huh, is that the best you can do?
What is the best we can do in the meantime? I'd love to hear from you in the comments section.

Bernie Madoff January AMEX statement. How Bernie "Made Off" with the loot month after month.
I wonder how much Bernie Madoff's family knew about Bernie's ponzie scheme. Did Bernie wife, who spent over 28,000 dollars in January on "stuff", think everything was legit?
I guess it is possible the rest of the family did not understand what was going on, but it is also possible that Bernie made their ventures fail proof by simply piping in the money when necessary.
Don't be surprised if that missing 50 billion dollars is part of the reason that credit card companies jacked up the interest rates on their customers.

CREDIT CARD INDUSTRY'S EVIL TENTACLES EXTEND AROUND THE GLOBE.
Credit Card Companies may be doing even worse things in other parts of the world than in the United States. In this instance, the home mortgage company is shown to be much more flexible than the credit card company.
“Unfortunately, he built up debt on the card, and like other consumers have found that it can be the smaller credit card debts – rather than mortgage debt – that pushes them over the edge.” Citibank have filed a legal claim and my fear is that although he has managed to ensure that his mortgage is almost up to date he could potentially lose his house over a credit card.” Ms
Williams said.

And ANOTHER Mothers Day Credit Card Story that tries to paint the banks in a sympathetic light over their credit card policies.
People can no longer afford to tread water nor go even more debt because of these usurious rates, yet the credit card companies now can't make enough money because these afflicted debtors, who could afford to pay down reasonable interest rates, have given up trying to pay down rates that would do any mafia gangster proud.
Did you hear the one about being one day late on a payment that then results in a 150 dollar late fee penalty on a 5,000 dollar debt?
Gangstas the world wide are crying tears of joy as they see that they were just ahead of their time. Meanwhile Barack Obama plans on a town hall meeting. Did you hear the one about how the titantic crew called a town hall meeting while the titantic was sinking. Neither did I.

DAY-20 CHASE BANK PROTEST, Fontainebleau Las Vegas Files Lawsuit Against Chase Bank, Bank of America and friends.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.Fountainbleu Las Vegas Casino Project Pictured Above, is now suing Chase Bank, Bank of America, and others for "bailing out" on their project in midstream.
Fountainebleu apparently secured 800 million in financing and the banks just backed out at the last minute. Construction crews and the manufacturers who supply them are now out of work, thousands of them.
It seems the credit card companies and banks will continue to hammer indentured credit card owners because they are easy, unaligned targets. Why invest in a construction project that creates jobs and stimulates not only the Vegas economy but several construction, manufacturing and service arms all over the country when it is easier to just run roughshod over existing credit card debtors by raising their credit card rates?
Heck, the banks will probably make a handsome profit by not stimulating local economies because that will create more and more families defaulting on credit card loans. Do you see how this works against families, and for the banks?
The banks can make more money in Las Vegas by keeping their own money, the government bailout money, and then waiting out everyone that is going to default on their credit card debt from lack of jobs. As banks starve out these kind of construction projects, it will result in an astronomically huge increase in credit card interest rates from around 8% or 9%, all the way up to 29.99 percent and even higher!
That much of a credit card interest rate spike literally makes credit card debtors indentured for life, causing credit defaults, until the banks just start taking away homeowners homes at pennies on the dollar.
If you don't have credit card debt, this still can affect you as the customers that make your business thrive suddenly are just treading water at 30 percent interest on their credit card debt. Now your customers have to choose between these ridiculous credit card paydown terms or buying something from your business.
As the banks thrive off of 30% credit card interest rate debt they also absorb more property defaults from those who couldn't find employment, just like what is happening in Vegas.
The less the banks do, the more money and property they acquire. Credit Card interest rates should be dropping, now rising, as an incentive to banks to find long term loan deals that make them more money than credit card debt.
It is a myth that credit card companies are losing money from credit card debt, they are creating long term profit by defiling people's credit while also repossessing property.
