Tell BARACK OBAMA you care about the RIGHT to OPT OUT when a BANK or CREDIT CARD COMPANY CHANGES TERMS.

DAY-38, Chase Bank Protest. Having trouble keeping up with all the stories about Chase Bank and the Credit Card Indusry.
It would actually be easier to go protest for an hour in front of a Chase Bank, come back, and write about it, then pouring over the numerous internet articles about Chase Bank and the Credit Card Industry that I read every day. I wish I could do both.
I hope to get back to my on the street protesting soon. In the meantime, my father's death has left me with so much more to do on a daily basis it has been quite an experience.
I think I came up with an idea for a book about my dad.
Any suggestion for book writing software? The book will have lots of pictures in it, perhaps even one per page. I'll be self publishing it.

DAY-21 CHASE BANK PROTEST. Sprucing up Daily-Protest Header with Important Links.
On days that I cannot Protest in front of Chase Bank in person, I still spend a few hours either writing a new story about Chase Bank or improving Daily-Protest to make it easier and faster to learn about the most important stories.
Today was such a day.
I've added several of the most important stories that Daily-Protest has broken first, along with very important links, onto the header of Daily-Protest. I still need your help however. By posting your own handmade Daily-Protest.com sign on a bulletin board, a countertop, or a store window, you can help Daily-Protest reach thousands of people who don't know this site exists.

DAY-18 CHASE BANK PROTEST - balancing everyday life with the protest is difficult.
The recent passing of my father has taken precedence over my "on the street protesting". I have been able to keep blogging, but it is hard having to miss protesting in front of Chase Bank so I can take care of family emergencies that are coming up on a daily basis. My mother lost her sister and her husband within a month of each other, and I am not trying to save our cute little shitszu that has horrible skin itchiness, she is literally scratching herself to death.
Instead of protesting yesterday, I spent that time immersing our dog in slightly warm water for 30 minutes, then did the SebaLyt shampoo treatment for several more minutes, then rinsed, and dried. Her fur never looked better, but the skin underneath was still red.
I took the dog with me to mail a bill and then on the way back, a family friend would look at her to give me some advice. By the way, it's a bill that had the payment date moved up 10 days, and I've asked three months in a row to have the date moved back to where it was for the past 6 years. It's not a Chase Bill, it's a non credit card company fuel bill adopting "sinister old school" tactics that many credit card companies dropped several years ago.
These evil billing tactics include giving something like 10-14 days time to pay the bill from the date they actually mail the bill to me. This company has also changed the payment address to across the country, before it used to be in my state. This is really evil stuff, especially when they keep telling me that they will change due date back to the old date, and never do.
So I took the dog with me to the Post Office (Daily-Protest sign in the back window) and then to show to a family friend who has dealt with similar skin problems with her dog. I also bought some vegetarian dog food. The dog won't eat it. I heard the dog start to scratch in the middle of the night and I put her on my lap. She slept fine for several hours that way. When I woke up and left the room, she managed to scratch herself so much, it was as if to make up for the time she lost while sleeping on my lap.
The dreaded prednisone treatment seems to be the only recommendation to reduce skin itchiness that actually works, but over the long haul will shorten a dog's life. So will all the scratching.
You can help promote the protest against Chase Bank by making a daily-protest.com sign and posting it where people will see it. Just be careful that the sign won't blow into traffic, doesn't have sharp edges, or doesn't distract people or obstruct their view. The back window of a PARKED CAR in a busy supermarket market can prove very effective, but please DO NOT DRIVE OR BACK UP with the sign in the back window, not even for one second. But if you work in a store, just leaving a Daily-Protest sign in your backwindow for that time period will help this site get hits.
There is no advertising on this site so the hits are not a ploy to make money.
Places to put such a sign include bulletin boards, store front windows, or a bumper sticker. Even a workplace countertop can work, just get permission if it isn't your space. lol, you can also try protesting in front of a Chase Bank near you, but the other ways may prove just as effective.

Daily-Protest Breaking News, CHASE BANK LIES ON NATIONAL TELEVISION about their Opt Out Policy.
Well, here is the original material from MSNBC.
The Video above does not scale down in size far enough for me to post the entire image, however the audio is intact and you can hear the claim made that Chase offers opt out options to all of their clients even though they haven't done that with 400,000 of their best paying customers.

I can personally attest that less than one month ago Chase Bank refused to allow me to opt out after they increased the monthly minimum payment. Near the end of the youtube video below, Chase claims they allow customers to opt out. This is called a bold faced lie on national television.
One more thing. If we call the current monthly minimum payment one is making as making 100% of the required payment, than Chase actually jacked up the monthly minimum payment FROM 100% TO 250%, this is another way of explaining the increase rather than simply saying it was a 150% increase, which makes it sound like it was less than doubling the increase.

DAY - 13, CHASE BANK PROTEST, More Freeway Driving with the Daily-Protest.com sign in the Back Window of the Car.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.I have decided to preserve my voice for my father's funeral services. When I protest, I yell my slogan, CHASE BANK, KEEP YOUR WORD! I can yell pretty loudly. I actually can lose my talking voice but still be able to yell. However, if I lose my talking voice before my father's service that would be a bad thing. I don't want to be in the position of not being able to talk, but being able to yell at my father's funeral service.
-------------------------------------------------
Our family was blindsided by the pre funeral arrangements that had been made and pre-paid for several years earlier. My father thought he was paying for everything, until it actually came time to call and make the arrangements for his funeral. We had to scramble to find an alternative casket, mortuary, and then church because the original contract and salesman had completely mislead us.
I won't go into the details but I can now offer you all some very important advice about pre-paying for your funeral plot, tomb, or mortuary services. When someone passes and a "conventional" funeral has been planned, there are several distinct steps that have to be taken. Body pick-up and transport to the mortuary, embalming, make-up and dressing, casket selection, viewing time, church time and the necessary personnel, religious speaker fee, death certificates, stationary, flowers, dvd photo montage, police escort, transport to burial, entombment or burial, plaque or headstone, engraving, vase, long term care and maintenance. I've probably forgotten a couple as well.
Funeral and mortuary facilities can deceive people by SOMEby having their sales person assure the family that everything has been paid for. Years later, when it is time to use the pre-purchased plan, all of the things that were verbally promised are no where to be found on the contract.
This type of cemetery and mortuary scam could easily be stopped if all funeral and mortuary contracts listed ALL OF THE NECESSARY STEPS that will have to be paid for are actually pre-printed on the contract. Then the salesman has to initial the printed items that are actually being purchased.
If any of you have parents or you yourself have already purchased your burial spot and seem to think you have paid for everything, the odds are that you have probably only paid for a small portion of everything you will need. Review your contract NOW. If the sales person hand writes onto your contract what you are buying, what they are really doing is not revealing what you still have to buy. This is fraud and deception and can set you up for a false sense of security and a huge financial obligation when you can least afford it.

Chase Bank Protest - Day 12, Taking it to the Streets and Freeways of Los Angeles.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.Today was spent making funeral arrangements for my father.
I put the DAILY-PROTEST.com sign in the rear window of the car and we drove 80 miles in Los Angeles traffic going to our appointments for the day, most of the driveway was freeway driving. A bunch of it in stop and go freeway traffic. (for safety reasons I am not advocating anyone else do this).
It appears DAILY-PROTEST.com picked up a few Southern California hits as a result! I drive extra carefully because the Daily-Protest sign does take up space in the back window so I am not advocating anyone else do this. I take many more quick glances out of both side view mirrors to make up for having less viewing area in the back and this safety technique is not something I can easily teach to others.
If you want to help reverse Draconian Credit Card decisions made by Chase Bank boardroom numbskulls who have no faith in the american people and are instead trying to capture as much of our wealth as soon as possible, rather than free it up, then join my protest, it's easy.
Just make signs with the words DAILY-PROTEST.com and put them somewhere where others will see them. Just make sure your signs won't fall on somebody or into traffic. Your signs should not have sharp edges nor should they distract people who are driving or otherwise moving, or obsruct other people's view. Make the letters nice and thick so they are more visible. Hand made or designed on a computer, either is fine. Perhaps you can leave them on a bulletin board where you work, or on a counter-top. If you own your own business, it would be amazing if you could put a Daily-Protest.com sign in your store window.
If dozens of people put these signs up, this site would probably gain 50 hits a day, or more, and that's 50 more people a day we can educate about Chase Bank and their racketeering ways. I did not come up with the phrase racketeering. I told a doctor what I was doing and why, and they used the term "racketeering" to describe Chase's tactics, and I agree. Changing terms on an existing account and not allowing the customer the opportunity to say "I opt out" is racketeering in my opinion.
Chase Bank, soon to be known as Change Bank (as in the bank that changes terms, leaving their customers with only the change in their pocket) if they don't reverse what they have already started.

Chase Bank Protest - Day 11, Van Nuys Post Office on Sherman Way Pre-midnight and after midnight Protest against Chase Bank.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.My father passed away this morning, now it was 12 hour later and at 11:30PM I was mailing my IRS payment at the Van Nuys station. Since I was already there, I decided to hold up my CHASE, KEEP YOUR WORD, protest sign along with my Daily-Protest.com sign for a while. It was a half hearted effort at best. I couldn't stop thinking about my Dad and my overwhelming guilt that I didn't slobber him with kisses and tell him how great a dad he had been.
----------------------------------
I made sure not to clog last minute traffic. I had a very carthartic talk with the hospice driver who came to pick the bed, oxygen machine and wheelchair.
If you want to help keep the protest going over the next couple of days, please make a sign that says Daily-Protest.com and put it somewhere where it can be safely viewed and won't fall on anybody or into traffic. Make sure the sign doesn't have sharp edges either.
No matter where you live, if you put up a couple of signs in a storefront or a parked car that is visible to others (please don't drive with the sign in the back window as that could be risky), I might be able to track if I get any hits from your city and let you know not who, but how many hits you helped generate.

Chase Bank Protest-Day 10, My Dad Passes and it was painful for me.
CLICK ON DAD TO ENLARGE.My Father passed away yesterday. Even though I was with him most of the time over the past 2 months, I made a huge mistake and I will never forget it, and it hurts. I wanted to give him a ton of kisses to make up for the unnecessary guilt that others in our family had chosen to heap on him. However, I was afraid that by doing that, I would be telling him to die, that this was it. So I waited so as not to hasten his death.
He had to be changed that last night and he was so weak that he just sank into the air mattress. It took me half an hour to change him and I was so exhausted by then that I fell asleep sometime around 3 in the morning? When I woke up he was gone. I wanted him to know one final time how grateful I was for him and for being his son and to counter the stress, anxiety and guilt that he felt based on the narcissistic judgement by others of his life, and I failed.
My father thanked me several times over the past couple of months and said he wouldn't still be alive if not for my efforts. For me it was not an effort,I was grateful to be there when he needed a sip of water or had a special food craving, but I just wanted to him know one last time in no uncertain terms how much he meant to me.
A big part of my grief involved trying to file my nightly story for this blog even as he lay just three feet from me and was only hours away from dying. Filing my nightly stories is important to me because we have to fight back against paper violence. Paper violence is when some schmuck in a corporate board room makes a callous, uncalled for numerical decision that instantly causes grief and hardship to thousands of people, such as what Chase is doing with their Change in Terms on already existing agreements. These Change in terms involve raising monthly minimum fees 250%. Yet there was my father, and I blew it his final night and I am sitting here in tears as I write this.
As at peace that I am that I did everything for my father that I could, I feel I blew it the final night of his life, big time, and I blame Chase bank for that. I would protest 8 hours a day against Chase, every day, if I could earn a wage doing it. In the meantime, I will probably post less often over the next week as I prepare for my fathers funeral. Thanks Dad, thanks for my life and for you being in it.

CHASE BANK PROTEST, DAY-9. HOW YOU CAN HELP DAILY-PROTEST.com GROW EVEN IF YOU CAN'T PROTEST.
CLICK HERE TO ENLARGE PICTURE-YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY MAKING YOUR OWN DAILY-PROTEST.com SIGN.The higher this blog goes in the stat rankings, the more people will be aware that the Credit Card Companies are putting a huge hurt on trustworthy customers. The more people who see this site, the more I can learn about the hardships that Chase Bank has put their customers through. The biggest transgression by far committed by Chase bank is not allowing customers the right to opt out when the credit card company changes terms.
When we add in that Citibank and other Credit Card Companies are all about to renege on existing promises and life of the loan low interest rate agreements, we are talking about the victimization of well over a million people, perhaps as many as 5 million people who are having their world turned upside down by a bunch of elite, Wall Street Snobs who think we can't assemble and fight them.
CLICK HERE TO ENLARGE IMAGE. HANDMADE SIGNS SAFELY PLACED WHERE THE WILL BE SEEN BY OTHERS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.How can you help stop Chase bank and force them to reverse course? Make a sign that says DAILY-PROTEST.com and put it somewhere safe where people will see it. Your signs will generate awareness for this site and can help Daily-Protest.com succeed in finding people that are being harmed by Chase Bank's increase in their monthly minimum payment demands.
I have a few rules for sign placement for safety purposes that you MUST follow if you want to help. This is to ensure that that nobody gets hurt and that neither you or I don't get sued.
An ideal place to put a DAILY-PROTEST.com sign is in the back window of a PARKED CAR. You CANNOT start, drive, back up, or move the car in anyway with the sign in the back window as it will obstruct your view and endanger others and yourself. You also can't leave someone in the car if whenever the sign is posted for a few reasons I won't get into at this time.
If you work at a mall or some place where people will walk by your car during the day or even see it at night because of night lighting, you can help this blog generate hits, and spread awareness, without having to walk a picket line.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE. CAN YOU MAKE YOUR OWN SIGN AND PLACE IT WHERE IT CAN BE SAFELY SEEN?
Just place a Daily-Protest.com sign where people walk by. Make sure the sign can't fall on top of people, or onto the ground where someone can trip over it. Make sure your sign won't blow away and into traffic. Make sure your sign is made of lightweight material and does not have sharp edges. Even if you put the Daily-PROTEST.com message on an 8 and 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper and leave it on a bulletin board where you work, or a counter top area, every hit that Daily-Protest.com gets, will help.
As the media continues to talk about Pirates and Obama's Dog and Tea Party Protests are being reported in a rather derogatory way, Let us not forget that the story of the everyday person who is being screwed over by Chase Bank is not being headlined by the mainstream media. Even as you read this article Chase is advertising their arrival in California by spending millions upon millions of dollars on commercials.
Besides the Credit Card Scandal already in motion, Chase's purchase of WAMU for literally a penny or two on the dollar must also be investigated.
Anybody recall the infamous California saying of the 80's, Welcome to California, (Chase), now go home.

Chase Bank Protest, Day-8. When I don't Make it Out to Protest Some Days, it's because I am taking care of my Dad as best I can.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.(Edit note - Although my dad's face looks yellowish in this picture, it turns out that the digital still camera I am using apparently has "gone yellow" a couple of times when it is first turned on. It was also the afternoon when I took that picture and the light coming in was bouncing off of some creme colored blinds. In other words, my dads actual skin tone still looked "normal" to my eye when I took that picture but the picture shows up as yellowish on his face.)
My Chase Bank Protest, Day-8, was spent watching over my ill father who is under home hospice care. I could not leave him today, even under the care of anyone else, because he has a persistent hiccup and he is not able to down any liquids. When I protest, my dad is waiting for me to come home and be with him for the few days he has left.
My Dad has been a tough man his whole life. Friendly, but with his own earnest set of beliefs. One of my Dad's beliefs has been, "Keep your word". In this past year, many people didn't keep their word to my Dad. The local dentist who never made his top denture right and then tried to charge another 500 dollar lab fee.
The dental Insurance program for seniors in California is another example of how seniors are ripped off by offering such an attractive plan, that the dentists will upsell seniors with unnecessary work, or not do the work at all.
Even Rite Aid doesn't honor their 20% off first Tuesday of the month for seniors at all of their stores. I witnessed all of this disrespecting of my dad as I took him and my mother to all of their appointments and their store visits as well.
But before this past year, my dad lived a very full life. Even after he retired my dad had his victory garden that he started while still working, and then flourished the garden even more when he retired. Dad would send dried figs to our relatives in other states (and his dried figs are delicacies).
One year mom and dad grew ample tomatoes from our own California backyard so that we could can and have tomato sauce all year long. Orange trees that gave enough for orange juice for most of the year. Artichokes, Swiss Chard, lettuce, Fava Beans, cucumbers, eggplant, all of this on less than a 1/5th of an acre, did I mention the lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, parsimmons, and even Chedro grafted onto an existing lemon tree. A nirvana of fruit trees all on a 1/5th of an acre.
There are tens of thousands of stories turned tragedy because of what the credit card companies are doing. How many of them will actually be told by the media?
-----------------------------------------
Chase Banks arrogance in thinking they can unilaterally change terms while giving their customers no choice motivates me to stop them before they infect other corporate giants into thinking they too can be way above the law. My Dad's prostate cancer has taken over his body, meanwhile Chase's banking actions are taking over the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, stealing their time as they try and pay Chase money that Chase does not need, and money that they are illegally demanding.
Every day I have to choose, do I apportion some of my precious time spent with my father towards my Chase Protest, or do I not protest, not even for an hour a day, so that I can be with my father all of his remaining time.
Thanks Chase, thanks for being every bit as evil as the cancer that runs through my dads body.

Day Seven of Chase Bank Protest in Southern California, A Recap of the Entire Week.
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.
Today was Easter and the day was spent with my elderly parents. I wasn't sure how protesting on Easter would come off. It seems like the kind of day people would just be chilling and if they see some guy protesting about Chase bank it might not go over as well as on practically any other day.
Anyways, I plan on doing a "make-up" hour tomorrow for today.
I also want to take a moment and recall five people that I interacted with this past week during my protests. The first was Klaus. I really don't get what he was about. It seems a lot of what he said wasn't true. He said that the employees at the former WAMU at 6633 Topanga Canyon that was now a Chase Bank liked working for Chase better, and that they were paid better. Yet the Chase Bank at 6400 Platt Ave. in West Hills claims that there were no raises of any kind when Chase took over. hmmmm. Klaus seemed to not listen to me when we spoke, he seemed to have all of his answers pre-made and if I asked him a question he sort of went back to his talking points, which actually had nothing to do with the purpose of my protest.
There was the local tow truck company that had a metal gate that made it easy to hand my Daily-Protest.com sign on his fence. However, probably because I didn't ask him first, he was kind of snippy when he came out, a bit rude as well. I didn't have the desire to tell him that our family had used his companies services in the past. Rather, I felt sorry for the guy. He's trying to protect what his without realizing that what Chase is doing with their credit cards will cost him business. The Owner comes out to give me a piece of his mind as I was taking this picture of the rainbow. Even one of his employees was snippy as he left. I think I recognized him as being one of the tow truck drivers that had actually towed a one of our cars home in the past. Luckily, the positive responses and interest far outweigh the occasional anti-protest no mattter what the protest is mentality that seems to reside in a small percentage of the population.
Then there was Chas, a younger gentleman who hates the government and wants to see it changed for the better. His friend held the Daily-Protest.com sign while we talked. He had actually walked by me the day before at another location, but that prior non-contact sort of nudged him into noticing me the second time around. Everything lays the foundation for future things. Success is usually built in steps.
MIke took the time to stop and park his car, talk, and even call a friend who also was angry at Chase, but for an entirely different reason. Mike's friend claims that WAMU was stolen by Chase for literally pennies on the dollar, which resulted in WAMU share holders getting royally ripped off. If this is true, then this just makes Chase's action against their best paying customers that much more reprehensible. Apparently, the head of the SEC is now running Chase. I am trying to recall if this person is cushy with the Barack Obama camp. This is starting to smell big time.
Finally, a rather skittish woman walking a poodle came by on Saturday at the Studio City rally. She hurriedly walked by me and make a snide remark that I didn't know what I was talking about. I said I didn't as she walked away, her poodle leading the way. I proceeded to tell her that I did know what I was talking about, that I was direct recipient of Chase's actions, and that 14 class action lawsuits had already been filed.
As I walked away she turn from being a third of the way across ventura blvd and came back and attempted to discuss the issue with me. The problem was she apparently was very rattled that I was even out there at all. Her friend had told her that something was up with Chase but she wasn't sure what it was. Perhaps she thought her own Chase mortgage or some other financial product was going to increase and she clearly would not be able to handle it.
When she found it was a credit card situation, she seemed a bit relieved, apparently she had jumped to a conclusion that I was out there for another reason. Of course it was her choice to not just ask me what my protest was about, and not to check ot the website address and learn. Remember what I previously wrote about divide and conquer strategy. Take out small groups of people at a time, and all the other groups are relieved it was not them that was target. The groups that already have been ripped off and nobody came to help them, they then smugly watch and do nothing as they see others get the same illegal treatment they got. That is called divide and conquer.
Anyways, the lady claimed my message wasn't clear. I asked her to come up with a four word slogan that is as easy to understand as CHASE, KEEP YOUR WORD! as she walked away with her dog. She probably would have tried coming up with something and telling me on her way back, but I decided to leave as I had put over two hours already and I have other commitments that need ongoing, daily attention. I think my one two punch of a four word slogan, and the second sign having a website on it is a very effective way to raise awareness.
If Chase really want to accelerate money from consumers coming back into the bank, just give some incentives to customers rather than using heavy handed tactics such as unilaterally forcing customers to suddenly come up with 250 percent more in payments every month.

DAY FOUR OF PROTEST AGAINST JP MORGAN CHASE BANK - SOUNDS OF HORNS HONKING TO MY PROTEST SIGNS !
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.Yesterday Early Evening Protest from 6:10 to 7:40 generated the most response from cars passing by. The Chase Bank located at 6400 Platt Ave. in West Hills, California appears to be a solid location for getting the community to look and learn. It is inevitable with each passing day that more of Chase's unethical and perhaps illegal 250% increase in the monthly minimum loan repayment bills are reaching their customers.
The shock of seeing a monthly minimum payment rise from two hundred dollars to five hundred dollars in these stifling economic times should be more than enough to get people involved by going to this website. If you can't protest, please, send a link to this website to your own personal email list.
The more people this website can make aware of Chase's unethical ways, the quicker Chase can be "changed" to a more civil and ethical policy.
If Chase wants to hire me as a consultant, I would gladly give a solution to the mess they have created that should make most people happier than what Chase has already implemented. I am a complete outsider, and that is what is needed to prevent the type of billing maliciousness and malfeasance that Chase is attempting to implement by lowering the standard of Credit Card to that of racketeering.
If Chase is not stopped, all the other major credit cards will follow! Citibank is now doing virtually the same thing as Chase!
