12051 Ventura Blvd in Studio City is a very busy place. A lot of people go by this Chase Bank location and at on point the Daily-Protest stat counter found 21 out of 22 Daily-Protest hits were from California, (no addresses are listed by the stat counter, just cities), clearly people are interested in what Chase Bank is up to here in California. At least 8 of the hits were from I-Phones, perhaps the passengers in the cars are actually taking a moment to check out Daily-Protest.com right then and there.

With each passing day, as more and more people receive their Chase statements with the 250% increase in the monthly minimum, awareness of what the banks are doing will only grow. The more hits this blog receives, the more Chase will become aware of the hornets next they themselves started.

The more people that join my protest, the more likely that Chase will back down. It would take nothing more than a daily vigil in which people protest in one hour shifts at one Chase Bank, to make a lasting difference and reversal to what Chase has already done.

Besides myself, there were a couple of dozen protestors, all protesting different causes. Apparently a newstruck came out prior to my arrival and decided to label the entire protest "Republican". My personal belief is that my protest will protect democrats, republicans, independents and greens.

I believe the April 15th nationwide protests should not focus on our president but rather focus on how the banks are trying to earn back their losses much too quickly and in the process are harming hundreds of thousands of trustworthy americans.

DAY FIVE OF JP MORGAN CHASE BANK PROTEST, "They're Evil" shouts one couple as they wait at a light and see my signs.

Yesterday was Day-5 of my Chase protest Chase Bank in West Hills California. It was the second day in a row that car horns could be heard after viewing my signs. The car horns came every few minutes. I think the car horns escalate in the coming weeks as more and more people begin to actually see their credit card statements and their "life of the loan" low interest rates have actually been violated and changed by Chase, and Citibank, and Bank of America, and on down the line.

Approximately 20-25 cars honked their disapproval of Chase Bank and their approval of my protest against Chase Bank and their banking methods. One couple just yelled out, "They're Evil...." as they drove off.

I picketed from 6:55PM to around 8:00PM. Even though holding two signs at the same time was tiresome, at 7:45pm I had vowed to put in at least one hour a day, so I stayed and continued to protest, and am I glad I did.

About five minutes after checking the time, a car drove by and the person asked why I was protesting. I gave him a very brief recap, and he explained that he had a friend who was very upset with Chase as well. This driver then drove to the next driveway, parked, and walked over to me to explain that a friend of his wanted to a;sp protest against Chase.

Mike called his friend and it looks like the three of us, and maybe a few more, will be carrying on the protest in the future. Mike even took tonights photo. My previous photo, from Day-4, took me 45 minutes to capture because I had nobody help me shoot it. I had to first find an elevated place to carefully rest and position my digital still camera, and then I had 10 seconds to run into the frame and get set.

lol, the third picture actually came out pretty good last night, but I wanted to have one more just so i could have a choice. Thirty five minutes later I had a couple more choices to choose from. Tonight, Mike took two pictures of me, and the entire process took less than two minutes.

Besides taking tonights picture, Mike explained that Chase is trying to buy WAMU for like a penny on the dollar and then launder the difference while also collecting bailout money from the government. It wouldn't surprise me if that was true.

DAY FOUR OF PROTEST AGAINST JP MORGAN CHASE BANK - SOUNDS OF HORNS HONKING TO MY PROTEST SIGNS !

Yesterday Early Evening Protest from 6:10 to 7:40 generated the most response from cars passing by. The Chase Bank located at 6400 Platt Ave. in West Hills, California appears to be a solid location for getting the community to look and learn. It is inevitable with each passing day that more of Chase's unethical and perhaps illegal 250% increase in the monthly minimum loan repayment bills are reaching their customers.

The shock of seeing a monthly minimum payment rise from two hundred dollars to five hundred dollars in these stifling economic times should be more than enough to get people involved by going to this website. If you can't protest, please, send a link to this website to your own personal email list.

The more people this website can make aware of Chase's unethical ways, the quicker Chase can be "changed" to a more civil and ethical policy.

If Chase wants to hire me as a consultant, I would gladly give a solution to the mess they have created that should make most people happier than what Chase has already implemented. I am a complete outsider, and that is what is needed to prevent the type of billing maliciousness and malfeasance that Chase is attempting to implement by lowering the standard of Credit Card to that of racketeering.

If Chase is not stopped, all the other major credit cards will follow! Citibank is now doing virtually the same thing as Chase!

Today I was out on Sherman Way by Topanga Canyon from 6:00 to 7:45 PM. It is kind of tricky finding the best spot. I have to be careful not distract cars from their driving so I primarily concentrate on them when they are stopped.

If one protests by an intersection, red lights enable drivers to take a moment and look. Once the light turns green for those drivers and they proceed through an intersection I move the signs to other cars that are not moving so as not to be a distraction to them as they go through the intersection.

If I only had one sign with me, I could just sort of walk the intersection via the crosswalks. However, the big sign "Chase, Keep Your Word", is so big that I cannot carry the "Daily-Protest.com" sign as well. In actuality, I think the Daily-Protest.com sign is probably more effective as it allows me a chance to educate people who may remember the link and check it later on.

After I was done protesting for the day, I walked into a nearby mall with my Daily-Protest.com sign. I was intrigued to see a couple of store owners unhappy to see me walk by their store with my Daily-Protest sign. I understand why they are upset, they pay for their spot, and I walk by trying to promote something else, for free. However, the irony is they are losing business as customers who can barely afford the 250% increase in monthly payments do it by cutting back on other types of purchases.

CHASE BANK, WOODLAND HILLS PROTEST, DAY ONE REPORT.

Today marked day one in the daily-protest quest to get Chase to do the right and civilized thing and reverse their ridiculous two percent to five percent monthly minimum repayment hike. I picketed Chase from around 12:40 PM to 2:10 PM.

I'll be back tomorrow. Not necessarily at the same time. Day one is always a learning day and I definitely learned what I will do more of tomorrow. Of course, since you don't know when I will be there, I guess if you show up it is because you care about what Chase has done, and how this atrocity will cascade to other credit card companies. CitiBank is apparently ready to follow suit and screw over their most loyal and on time paying customers as well.

AMEX Cuts off LONGTIME Credit Card Holders and Deletes Millions of Frequent Flyer Miles as if they never happened. CitiBank Conspiracy Involved?

Joel Grover of KNBC News revealed last night that American Express has been canceling credit cards of customers that have huge amounts of frequent flyer miles built up. The Frequent Flyer miles instantly disappear as stated in the fine print of the AMEX contract.

But then I found this article and it makes me wonder if a conspiracy is abound. Airlines use frequent flyer miles to pay Citi Group.

Here is an excerpt from that article that just screams collusion against AMEX's best customers...

AMR is in early talks to raise money from credit-card partner Citigroup Inc. by selling frequent-flier miles, the Financial Times reported yesterday, citing unidentified sources. AMR would follow at least four other large U.S. airlines in using such an agreement.

Andy Backover, a spokesman for Fort Worth, Texas-based American, and Citigroup’s Sam Wong in New York declined to comment on the report. American’s AAdvantage is the world’s biggest frequent-flier plan, with more than 60 million members.

‘Never a Question’

“It was never a question of whether American had access to liquidity from its mileage program, but when it would elect to draw it,” said Douglas Runte, managing director at Piper Jaffray & Co. in New York.

Is there any stopping this sleazy activity? Was there a conspiracy to cause AMEX frequent flyer card holders to lose their miles, then use the lost miles to pay CitiBank for their Services?
