Just when you thought the Credit Card Companies could not get any worse, along comes a mutant spawn strain of ATM thieves called "skimmers". Sadly, it appears the skimmers don't get discovered right away because the credit card companies are already robbing everybody blind. (that was satire)
Wouldn't it be sad if the skimmers were stealing your money as well, but it was less than the fees that the credit card companies were currently charging you? Maybe the theft would not even qualify as stealing. (that was satire)
I can hear the credit card customer service rep now. "Um, we can't classify those transactions as thefts since they total less than your monthly fees and charges. Sorry"...."Please read the fine print in your terms and agreements, all suspicious transactions under 100 dollars CANNOT be reported." (that was more satire).
