Motley Fool outdoes their own stupidity with this gem, wow.

I've received the Motley Fool Newsletter for well over a year now.  I cannot begin to tell you how many stupid and idiotic stock market predictions they have made during that time.  Oh, the market should be bottoming out now, don't wait too long to get back in,  If I had a dollar for every time they wrote that ditty....

Well, Motley Fool just topped themselves with this amazing credit card topic that appeared in their forum section. I can't begin to believe these idiots actually believe the things they and their forum buddies are commenting on about rising credit card interest rates.

Happy Mothers Day from all of those at the Credit Card Companies who have snuffed out every last spending dollar you have, and then penalized you too.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so even though your family could not be with you today because they are cutting as many corners as they can so they can pay their increase in credit card interest rates like good citizens, they still love you.

Day-34, CHASE BANK PROTEST. CHASE BANK and FRIENDS use PUNITIVE MEASURES for REDUCING CUSTOMER CREDIT CARD DEBT INSTEAD of INCENTIVE BASED METHODS.

I feel blessed the past few days because I finally put a face on what the credit card industry, the banking industry, Bernanke, the FDIC, and Barack Obama are doing incorrectly in their battle to turnaround the economy.

ALL of these entities are relying on punitive based actions (punishing the consumer) to reduce consumer debt, when it is fairly obvious that incentive based actions would work much faster and much more effectively.

I don't mean to come off like a braggart, but I have already designed several incentive based credit card paydown programs that would instantly have a positive effect on our economy.

My values have always centered around "people can make a difference" and to not use numbers to hurt people when we could use a different numbers paradigm to actually help people instead.

I would be more than happy to share my incentive based credit card debt paydown programs. All the credit card industry has to do is hire me.

The powers that be have chosen to punish those who already have credit card debt and who don't meet new, very strict credit card standards. The problem with this approach is it was done without ever first attempting incentive based credit card debt paydown programs that probably would work much better, faster, and more effectively at stabilizing our present economy.

Lets try and structure the credit card industry discussion into these two talking points, punitive vs incentive based credit card debt paydown programs. If you happen to get the media's ear, tell them.

Tell the media you don't think this is the time to punish people with credit card debt when incentive based credit card debt paydown programs would provide more stimulus than the stimulus package and bailout bill is providing.

Have a blessed day.

Day 33, Chase Bank Protest. Barack Obama to conduct town hall meeting about credit cards. I guess myself and other consumer advocates are not invited.

Reuters reports that Barack Obama will hold a town hall meeting about credit cards.

I find this type of political maneuvering disturbing.

The sad truth about credit card debt and the credit card industry is that tens of millions of people are being oppressed by the credit card industry, but these tens of millions of american don't think they are being oppressed as long as they can make the monthly minimum payment. Ironically, it is the low monthly minimum payment that has indentured these same millions of americans without them realizing it.

The other sad truth is not every complaint about credit card debt is a valid one. A town hall meeting will simply meld together the less valid, lack of personal responsibility complaints with the gut wrenchingly sad, unfair, and anti american behaviors that ARE PERPETRATED against american citizens by the credit card industry.

The United States has a population of over 300 million and over 200 million adults. That means that even if 10 million americans have been absolutely treated unfairly and are indentured to credit card debt for the rest of their life, that still only works out to 5 percent of the adult population!

This also means that if the town hall meeting is a random sampling of the adult population, then only one in 20 at that meeting will have the hard hitting examples we need to hear about. Imagine going to a football game in which only 5% of those in attendance actually understand football, and the rest of the stadium is comprised of tennis, baseball, basketball, golf fans and so on.

I don't want the hard hitting core issues to be diluted by somebody complaining because their credit line they were not using was cut in half, or that they were preapproved for a card then denied. The reason I don't want to hear about those issues is they will DILUTE the MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES THAT ALREADY EXIST AND ARE MORE HEINOUS!

Extremely important credit card issues that already exist include, the theft of frequent flyer miles from AMEX customers, those miles were then "reallocated" by American Airlines to Citibank in exchange for lower interest rates on loans that American Airlines requires.

Extremely mportant credit card issues include CHANGING TERMS WITHOUT ALLOWING THE CUSTOMER THE RIGHT TO OPT OUT once the see the changes on their billing statement.

Extremely important credit card issues include not dropping a credit line to either below, at, or just above the amount of credit card debt a person already has. Lower the card limit if you must, but give the consumer a bit of a soft landing as well.

Extremely important credit card issues include changing the credit card industry from punitive based policies that are punishing people with stellar payment histories to incentive based policies that reward credit card users with excellent paying and responsibility records.  Also, reward anybody who is intent on PAYING DOWN their debt.

Extremely important credit card issues include a higher monthly minimum payment requirement for college aged kids just starting out with credit cards. A TEN PERCENT MONTHLY MINIMUM PAYMENT REQUIREMENT FOR COLLEGE KIDS would reduce the amount of debt a college age person would acrue and limit the credit card companies losses as well.

Extremely important credit card issues include not labeling customers "toxic assets" because they have low interest credit card accounts that they EARNED by having an excellent payment history.

As you can see I've just outlined six really important credit card issues that could take an entire town hall meeting to discuss at length, especially if customer horror stories related to these six issues are discussed as well.

Instead, Barack Obama's town hall meeting will probably see such a bombardment of issues that there is a chance that the american citizen will be made out to be a whiner and complainer.

DAY-32, CHASE BANK PROTEST, RESPONSE to NY DAILY NEWS ARTICLE ABOUT BANK STRESS TESTS.

I tried leaving the following response to a NY Daily News article about bank stress tests. Their software clumped my multi paragraph response together as if it were one long paragraph. My response was also cut off without alerting me where that cut off point would be before I submitted my response. So, this response is for you, NY Daily News.

--------------------------------------------

How come there is no "stress test" for the flow of money back from the consumer to the banks? Why is it only about the banks and the amount of money they actually have in "reserve".

Isn't the biggest cash reserve the american worker and how far their weekly paycheck can be stretched?

Instead of helping to maximize the american worker's weekly paycheck, that paycheck is being contracted by boorish methods such as ridiculously high credit card interest rates and the punishment of anyone who has earned low interest rates because they were never late on a payment.

Labeling a low interest credit rate as a toxic asset, we can do better than that, no?

Stealing frequent flyer miles from the most reliable AMEX customers, then reallocating those same miles from AMEX to Citibank so Citibank can make a sweetheart loan deal with American Airlines, we can do better than that, no?

Chase Bank hitting their own best, most reliable, most trustworthy on time payers with an additional 150% monthly minimum payment on top of the payment they are already making, we can do better than that, no?

Telling people the economy is about to recover even though credit card debt is at ONE TRILLION DOLLARS AND CLIMBING, we can do better than that, no?

Until nationwide credit card debt is lowered from the one TRILLION DOLLARS it currently stands at, the economy WILL NOT turn around.

Credit Card Companies should be using incentive based credit card programs to get more cash flow return from those still working and those who still owe them money, rather than punishment based credit card programs that cause real consumer stress, distress and unrest.

DAY-31 CHASE BANK PROTEST and ANOTHER CHASE BANK DOES THE WRONG THING UNTIL A MEDIA CONSUMER ADVOCATE GETS INVOLVED.

It seems that with each passing day I find another consumer advocate saves a Chase Bank customer from the clutches of Chase Bank indifference and arrogance. It seems as if everyday brings a new story of a media consumer advocate helping a Chase Bank Customer get their money back from some type of Chase Bank shenanigans.

Chase does the right thing only when a consumer advocate with newspaper ties gets involved.

DAY-30, Chase Bank Protest, Chase President owes an apology to elementary students he misled, and he owes them a 10% interest savings account as well.

Keith Schuck, President of Chase Bank, misleads elementary school students by telling them they can save their money at a 10% interest rate in a bank! This deception is spun even as Chase Bank continues to do massive harm to some of their most loyal credit card customers. Chase bank did not allow hundreds of thousands of pay on time customers with low interest rate offers an "opt out" option after Chase Bank changed pre-existing agreements with people like this childs parents. Harm the parents, deceive the child, has kind of an anti-heroes ring to it.
Keith Schuck, president of Chase Bank, recently spoke to elementary school about the importance of savings accounts. Mr. Schuck chose to use 10% for the interest rate when he taught these young minds how to calculate how their savings can grow if they put their money into a savings account.

I consider what Mr. Schuck did a form of child abuse. Chase bank has no problem firing a customer service employee who took off a couple hundred dollars worth of overdraft penalty fees for a customer who somehow racked up well over a thousand dollars worth of these penalities even though the fired Chase bank employee did it so the person could pay their rent!

Keith Schuck, to make things right, should offer each of these children that he misled into thinking they could get 10% interest on a savings account, a 10% interest bearing college savings account. Unfortunately that would require Mr. Schuck honor his own words, spoken to young,  trusting minds.

Chase bank has no problem changing terms on their NEVER LATE paying customers without offering them a respite known as an "opt out" option. Chase bank offers the parents of these school children approximately 0.01 percent interest on their savings accounts, approximately 1000 times LESS than what he told these elementary school kids they could get if they opened a savings account in his branch.

Isn't it just a bit outrageous for Keith Schuck to condescend to children who look up to his distinguished position as president of a huge bank by suggesting to these kids they could save money at 10% interest? Is it acceptable for the president of Chase Bank, a Bank that probably has put many many people closer to bankruptcy or eviction because of insufferable addiction to money collected via penalities, to misrepresent interest savings rates to the sons and daughters of the very people Chase offers .01% interest to?

If Keith Schuck wants to make it right concerning his recent visit to an elementary school in which he used 10% interest savings rate as an example, he will offer each child that heard his words a savings account with a 10 percent interest rate attached to it. If Mr. Schuck can't or won't do this, it just becomes additional proof that he is a monster of deception and doesn't even care who knows it.

Comments
April 28, 2009
D ear Fixer: I have been back and forth with Chase Bank regarding fraudulent activity in my mother's and aunt's bank account. This fraud dates back to March 18, 2008.
My mother is 80 and has power of attorney over my aunt, who is 87. They have been banking at a Chase Bank location at 71st and Jeffery for three years.
During that time, there was an employee there who offered to be their personal banker. Their account had one ATM card. Someone later issued a second, unauthorized ATM card with a different number, which apparently also was linked to their account.
My mom's and aunt's pattern was to get $500 once a month to use for expenses, plus occasional withdrawals with their card for groceries, etc. Over the last year, someone used the unauthorized ATM card to make dozens of withdrawals, usually in $300 increments, at various locations that are not places that either my mom or aunt would visit.
On March 14, my mother went to the bank and was told they had no money left. Her estimated savings before this dilemma was approximately $25,000, which included her last Social Security check.
I went with her to the bank that afternoon and filed a dispute. The dispute department stated that they can and will only try to repay the money that was taken out of the account in the first 60 days of this fraud, which totals somewhere around $4,000.
I spoke to them about obtaining camera photos from the ATMs used in the fraudulent transactions and was told the police have jurisdiction. I filed a police report on March 16. When I asked the police about obtaining photos, they referred me back to the bank.
On March 23, I went to Chase's main branch downtown and spoke with a woman, who in turn referred me back to the 71st Street branch manager. I spoke to her and was told she would have her assistant call me, but I have not gotten a call back.
I have been unsuccessful in trying to get someone to assist me. Everyone wants to refer me to anyone but themselves. You would think with a bank as large as Chase, there would be a specific office to handle these types of fraudulent occurrences.
Debra Bostic, Chicago
Dear Debra: Well, it was hard to imagine two octogenarians roving the city, stealthily withdrawing a couple of hundred bucks at a pop and then lying to cover their tracks. Even more strange was the initial resistance you got at the bank.
You said you contacted U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-2nd) and federal banking regulators, in addition to The Fixer. Jackson's office told you they wrote Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Meanwhile, we e-mailed Tom Kelly, Chase spokesman, to ask the bank to take a closer look and to consider departing from Federal Regulation E, which says that fraudulent withdrawals reported more than 60 days after they appear on a bank statement are the customer's problem (banks can choose to give customers a break if they want to).
In less than a day, Kelly got back to us and said the bank would resolve it. Bank officials have since met with you and your mom, and $23,661.75 has been restored to the account.
When we asked if the fraud was an inside job, Kelly said he couldn't talk about personnel matters but that the bank is continuing an internal investigation. One thing's clear: Your aunt and mom hadn't taken the money.
A couple lessons: Read every bank and credit card statement to catch problems early, and let's make sure the older generation is getting the help they need to stay on top of this stuff.
Are you being given the runaround over a consumer problem? Tell it to The Fixer at www.southtownstar.com, where you'll find a simple form to fill out. You also can mail a brief description of your problem, along with your name, address and telephone number, to: The Fixer, SouthtownStar, 6901 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477. Please don't send original documents. Because of the large volume of submissions, The Fixer cannot make personal replies. Letters are edited for length and clarity.

DAY-29, CHASE BANK PROTEST, On and On and On goes the Chase Bank Commercial currently airing in California.

I've been trying to track down how much Chase Bank is spending just in California alone on their insipid and uninspiring "Blue Sky" commercial ditt featuring the John Lennon song Instant Karma. (...On and On and On, Well we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun, well we all shine on, everyone come on...)

Lennon's song is covered by Peter Murphy, former lead singer of the band Bauhaus.  The commercial is from the advertising agency of McGarry Bowen.  I haven't found the advertising budget but it has to be at least 10 million dollars, maybe much much more based on the commercial running once every half an hour on many different channels during prime time and late night news time for the past several weeks.

While Chase causes misery, stress and financial hardship with their "Change in Terms but you can't opt out" policy, Chase Bank glibly spend millions upon millions trying to delude people into feeling better.  Yech.  Even David Letterman just used the phrase on and on and on.

CHASE BANK PROTEST, DAY-28. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Chase Bank's President encourages schoolchildren to save their money in a Bank at 10% interest rate!

It is "Delaware Teach Children to Save Week". Is there a week called "Delaware Teach Chase Bank to be civil and respectful to their own customers week?"
I have not met the president of Chase Bank Keith Schuck, but between his indignant justification for not allowing an opt out option to his own credit card customers whenever Chase Bank Changes terms, to teaching kids to save money at 10% interest, this guy kind of scares me. Anybody that two faced is not the kind of sociopath that I would want to cross.

DAY-27, CHASE BANK PROTEST - name one CELEBRITY that has publicly chastized Chase Bank or the Credit Card Industry.

Have you heard or seen any celebrity, any famous person, anybody person of note, say anything about what the credit card companies are currently doing to the american people? Has anybody of prominence questioned the logic of reducing the spending capacity of millions of americans while also raising interest rates on their credit cards, when they should at the very least be lowering the interest rate?

It's so simple. Cut people's credit lines if you must, but accompany that cut with LOWER INTEREST RATES, NOT HIGHER.

If you have heard of any famous person railing against the credit card industry, PLEASE respond to this topic and provide a link. If you have not heard a celebrity railing against the credit card industry, then maybe any "change" that is going to happen, is going to have start with people like you and me.

I know congress is making "changes" and passing legislation, but they have given the credit card companies a YEAR to wreak havoc on middle america, and the credit card companies have already done their damage.

-------------------------

Today my mother made an interesting comment. "I didn't realize how much your father did in the yard outside".  Indeed.

I am working on the other side of my supersized protest sign, adding in "Daily-Protest.com". I am planning a protest for tomorrow (Sunday, May 03, 2009). I don't know which Chase Bank I will show up at, I'll probably decide at the last minute.

Corporate sponsored credit card abuse against the american people is a bigger issue than whether you are a democrat or republican.

DAY-26, Chase Bank Protest, Delayed once again, this time because of questionable quality sears craftsman roto tiller that would not start.

(Edit note, there will be a part two to this story in which I discover why the roto tiller was not working). The link will be added to this article once part II is written.

Font sizeThe Rake is Mightier than this Sears Roto Tiller.

As a tribute to my recently passed father, I set out to roto till a small piece of our backyard so we could plant green peas and beans. I spent over 2 hours trying to get the sears craftsmen roto tiller started. I cleaned the air filter, added new fuel, and I even followed the directions. Look at these instructions, what a joke.

SEARS EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.

AND MORE SEARS EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.

AND STILL MORE SEARS EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.

The closest I got to using the sears toy roto tiller was getting it started up for about 2 seconds and then shut down. Once it started and stopped, that usually is a sign that the piece of equipment will eventually start.  Not with this particular piece of equipment.  Instead I spent the next two hours grinding up the ground with with various rakes, hoes and pics.

After which we dropped in green peas and beans.

I'll post a follow up picture if something actually grows.

My fingers are still a bit numb from first pulling the roto tiller cord at least a hundred times, and then from having to use the rake and various hoes to grind up the piece of earth. Instead of the one hour project it should have been, it took me 3-4 hours.

How come the smaller, more portable equipment made for the elderly are tougher to start? How come the big powerful garden equipment starts right up, but the small stuff made for those that just want it to work for small projects, require one to work 10 times harder to get it to start.  Shouldn't it be the opposite?  Shouldn't the smaller, lighter equipment made for the elderly be easier to start, and the equipment made for the six foot two, 250 pound guy be the equipment that requires a more manly effort to start?

LOL, MEET THE SEARS INCREDI-PULL 4 CYCLE MINI ROTO TILLER. INCREDI-PULL???

I'm really offended that Sears ever put this pile of junk on the market. I remember my dad struggling to get this thing started in past years and I would rush out to help him so he wouldn't get a heart attack. Eventually he actually went back to that big oversized roto-tiller he used to use when he was a younger man.

Not only did the roto-tiller first steal half of my afternoon, plus the other half going towards actually using real garden tools to work the land,  I had to unclog the kitchen sink disposal as well.

Once again dad had come through by purchasing a snake.  Between unclogging the kitchen sink disposal and roto tilling the plot of land, five hours went by.  It was so late in the day that I barely had to time to write out this month's bills. I then had to drive half an hour each way to mail several credit card bills so that arrive nice and early.

Between the Sears crap roto-tiller product, snaking the kitchen sink disposal, and paying and mailing my bills, I no time to protest today, oh the irony.

DAY-25 CHASE BANK PROTEST. I COULD NOT PROTEST TODAY. HAD TO GIVE OUR DOG A REALLY LONG BATH, HOWEVER...

CHASE OR MY CUTE FACE, CLICK HERE TO SEE ME EVEN LARGER.
I spent from 2:30am to 7:00am resizing  my Daily-Protest.com Blog. I first spent a couple of hours meticulously strategizing the proper width of each column and the middle column as well. I then had to resize every photo in the main column and in the far left column as well.

Should I really say I did not protest today when I spent five hours making this blog more presentable for those who check it out?

I also spent the afternoon caretaking our 13 year old shitszu. My time was spent cleaning her eyes, trimming back the hair from in front of her eyes, then a really long bath. I don't do the pour water over the dog routine. I actually keep our dog in a metal tub with lukewarm water so she is immersed completely except for her back and head.

She actually looks pretty good right now. However, within a day or two the itching will start again, followed by the bleeding. I hope she isn't suffering.

Doesn't she look good right now for 13 x 7 years, which equals 91 in human years. Kind of odd how I am leading a credit card revolution but I have to take time out for our dog. I also reinforced my Chase, Keep Your Word sign. It is really large and has developed some creases that make the sign bend in two whenever the wind blows.

So today was a reload day, hopefully tomorrow will be an on the street Chase Bank protest day.

DAY-24, CHASE BANK PROTEST. I COULD NOT PROTEST TODAY. CUDDILY SHITSZU NEEDED EYE MEDICATION BADLY.

My mother recently lost her husband of 53 years and her sister within a month of each other. Having her also lose her dog (and no thank you, she cannot have another one, the daily care is too much for her to handle) right now is something I am trying to forestall.

Our shitszu's eyes need care and the prior eye doctor refused to reorder her medication because California state law requires an in office visit every six months before a prescription can be given to an animal. Well, we can't afford a 150 to 300 dollar visit for our dog, we can come up with the medication money only.

A compromise solution from a new vet may have saved us and the dogs eyesite. However, I still must ask, Is Chase tougher than a 13 year old shitszu?  You betcha.

It is a shame that Sarah Palin can't break out of the current, republican platform that is too afraid to go against the biggest banks, no matter how hurtful their current credit card policies and practices are to the american people.

Even Arlen Specter saw the light and has changed sides, although not because of the credit card industry as the democrats are also afraid to go after Chase bank immediately and instead will wait until legislation passes. The problem is the credit card industry is doing a whole lot of damage "RIGHT NOW" to millions of americans credit scores with their unreasonable changes in terms.

Help Daily-Protest.com grow by making a Daily-Protest.com sign and posting it where others will see it. You don't have to protest on the streets, just help make others aware that there is a CHASE BANK CREDIT CARD protest going on. Thank you.

DAY-23, CHASE BANK PROTEST. BACK to VENTURA BLVD. and TOPANGA CANYON. MY ORIGINAL CHASE BANK PROTEST SIGN REALLY GETS NOTICED.

Today I discovered that my original "Chase, Keep your Word" sign gets more attention at the same location than my more "mobile" protest signs that I had used yesterday. People came up to me to ask what was going on. I think if I stay at this location for a few more days that more and more people will ask what is going on, or check out the website, and get involved.

I think what is starting to happen is that people who actually turn into the large parking lot on a daily basis will take the time to walk up to me and learn more, at least that is what happened today.

When people ask what is going on, I quickly mention the 250% increase in the monthly minimum payment, and that there is no opt out option. It is the no opt out aspect that usually makes people shake their heads in disbelief. They can't believe that in a civilized society of rules and laws that banks can change terms, and not allow the customer any say in the matter.

People on the streets are turning out to be more reasonable, thoughtful, and fair, then the entire boardroom of Chase Bank.

When I next mention to those who stop by that AMEX, CitiBank, and American Airlines are conspiring to steal frequent flyer miles from AMEX customers so Citibank can trade them for better loan terms with American Airlines, people just can't believe that our government would let them down this way.

Meanwhile Chase bank continues to run commercials around the clock on California television announcing their arrival in our state as if they have come to save us. GUFFAW! Chase Bank's advertising is possibly making the local television stations reluctant to publicize our growing revolt against Chase Bank and their credit card division for fear of losing their advertising dollars in this tight economy.

DAY-22, CHASE BANK PROTEST, TOPANGA CANYON & VENTURA BLVD, WOODLAND HILLS, CA. LESS THAN 100 FEET AWAY FROM ME WAS A KNBC TELEVISION NEWS TRUCK.

Today was Day-22 of my Chase Bank Protest. I was in Woodland Hills, California by Ventura Blvd. and Topanga Canyon. It is kind of a strange location to protest at. The intersection is very busy. People were looking at my sign and nodding and giving me the thumbs up, but unlike other less busy locations, only a few of these same thumbs up people would also honk their horns.

My theory is that because it is such a busy area motorists are reluctant to use their horn unless a driver is napping when the light turns green.

I also saw a few strange occurrences near and around the intersection of Ventura Blvd and Topanga Canyon. A mobile Dent removal service that shows up on location to fix your car dent. I asked to take a picture of them fixing the car dent for this blog report but they politely refused.

Can you imagine being the guy that runs over a person, then calls a service that will come out and fix the evidence in daylight in a busy parking lot!  Anyways, I didn't take any pictures nor do I remember the name of the service, but I am surprised a "service" like that probably goes unregulated. yeesh.  Nice, polite people however and I have no idea whose car they were taking the dent out.

I also saw a very funny scene that I embellished into a beer commercial script. Too bad I don't believe in beer commercial advertising. Oh well.  And then there was the KNBC News Truck pictured above.

The area was so loud with traffic that I probably blended in and either went unnoticed or the news truck personnel just didn't care.  At one point I was just 20 or 30 feet away walking along Ventura Blvd when a couple of cars started honking their support at my signs. (Chase Bank, Keep Your Word).

However, I'm not a pirate, don't know Obama's puppy, am not the craigslist killer, nor am I protesting taxes. I am protesting Chase Bank and the credit card industries horrible credit card practices.

Over the past month I have noticed a ton of Chase Bank commercials all over the dial in Southern California, so I'm not holding my breathe for publicity from the same channels that are profiting handsomely from Chase Bank commercials running on their stations. I later googled to see if I could find out why KNBC was there, but I could not find any related story for that particular location.

I don't think I picked up very many hits today from my protesting, much less than some of the other locations I have picketed at lately. Even the people that honked and nodded and thumbs upped me didn't look like they understood they could support this site by bookmarking it, visiting often, and spreading the word.

I'll probably go elsewhere tomorrow for my one hour daily protest.

DAY-21 CHASE BANK PROTEST. Sprucing up Daily-Protest Header with Important Links.

On days that I cannot Protest in front of Chase Bank in person, I still spend a few hours either writing a new story about Chase Bank or improving Daily-Protest to make it easier and faster to learn about the most important stories.

Today was such a day.

I've added several of the most important stories that Daily-Protest has broken first, along with very important links, onto the header of Daily-Protest.  I still need your help however.  By posting your own handmade Daily-Protest.com sign on a bulletin board, a countertop, or a store window, you can help Daily-Protest reach thousands of people who don't know this site exists.

DAY-20 CHASE BANK PROTEST, Fontainebleau Las Vegas Files Lawsuit Against Chase Bank, Bank of America and friends.

Fountainbleu Las Vegas Casino Project Pictured Above, is now suing Chase Bank, Bank of America, and others for "bailing out" on their project in midstream.

Fountainebleu apparently secured 800 million in financing and the banks just backed out at the last minute. Construction crews and the manufacturers who supply them are now out of work, thousands of them.

It seems the credit card companies and banks will continue to hammer indentured credit card owners because they are easy, unaligned targets. Why invest in a construction project that creates jobs and stimulates not only the Vegas economy but several construction, manufacturing and service arms all over the country when it is easier to just run roughshod over existing credit card debtors by raising their credit card rates?

Heck, the banks will probably make a handsome profit by not stimulating local economies because that will create more and more families defaulting on credit card loans. Do you see how this works against families, and for the banks?

The banks can make more money in Las Vegas by keeping their own money, the government bailout money, and then waiting out everyone that is going to default on their credit card debt from lack of jobs. As banks starve out these kind of construction projects, it will result in an astronomically huge increase in credit card interest rates from around 8% or 9%, all the way up to 29.99 percent and even higher!

That much of a credit card interest rate spike literally makes credit card debtors indentured for life, causing credit defaults, until the banks just start taking away homeowners homes at pennies on the dollar.

If you don't have credit card debt, this still can affect you as the customers that make your business thrive suddenly are just treading water at 30 percent interest on their credit card debt. Now your customers have to choose between these ridiculous credit card paydown terms or buying something from your business.

As the banks thrive off of 30% credit card interest rate debt they also absorb more property defaults from those who couldn't find employment, just like what is happening in Vegas.

The less the banks do, the more money and property they acquire.  Credit Card interest rates should be dropping, now rising, as an incentive to banks to find long term loan deals that make them more money than credit card debt.

It is a myth that credit card companies are losing money from credit card debt, they are creating long term profit by defiling people's credit while also repossessing property.
